The free AI agent conference returns to SFU Harbour Centre on Oct 17, 2026. AgentConf YVR is sponsor-funded and free to attend. The VIP dinner is $99.

AgentConf YVR 2026 confirmed.

VANCOUVER, BC — 1 April 2026 — VZU today confirmed that AgentConf YVR 2026 will take place on October 17, 2026, at SFU Harbour Centre, Vancouver. The conference is in its second year and remains free to attend, funded by sponsors.

AgentConf YVR is the only conference in Western Canada focused on AI agent builders. The audience is operators, founders, engineers, and researchers who are building production AI agents. The talks and workshops are technical, not promotional. The CFP is open through July 31, 2026.

The format is a single day, three tracks, 12-15 speakers, two keynotes, three panels, and three hands-on workshops. The tracks are: Building (architecture, runtime, governance), Shipping (deployment, operations, observability), and Operating (scaling, cost, compliance). The hands-on workshops are limited to 30 attendees each and require a laptop.

The VIP dinner is on the evening of October 16, 2026, at a Vancouver restaurant. The VIP dinner is the only paid component of the conference — $99 per attendee, capacity 60. The dinner is an opportunity to meet the speakers, the sponsors, and the other operators in a small-group setting.

The 2026 sponsors will be announced on June 15, 2026. The 2025 sponsors included Ansatel, PostMTA, ChartFlow, TrackSphere, and the Lower Mainland Business Alliance. The sponsorship tiers are: Platinum ($25K), Gold ($10K), Silver ($5K), Community ($2.5K). The sponsor prospectus is at agentconf.vzu.ca/sponsors/.

Registration is open at agentconf.vzu.ca/register/. The conference is free to attend. Capacity is 150-250 attendees. The CFP is open through July 31, 2026, at agentconf.vzu.ca/speakers/.
