VZU launches AI Scribe.

VANCOUVER, BC — 30 June 2026 — VZU today announced the launch of AI Scribe, an ambient clinical documentation service for healthcare operators. AI Scribe listens to the patient-clinician conversation, generates a structured clinical note, and posts the note to the operator's EMR — all within 30 seconds of the encounter ending.

AI Scribe is built on the Voice Agently voice agent stack, which itself ships on the Netwit Agentic OS runtime. The voice pipeline is a four-model system (STT, LM, TTS, turn-taking) with a clinical-specialty fine-tune. The note generation is a Netwit agent with a clinical-note-generation tool, a structured-output validator, and an EMR-write tool (via MCP).

The deployment model is operator-controlled. The default is cloud, with a Canadian-region cloud provider for PIPEDA compliance. The on-prem option is available for operators under HIPAA, the EU AI Act, or any operator with a data-residency requirement that excludes cloud. The on-prem deployment runs on a single H100 GPU per 50 concurrent encounters, with a smaller model (a fine-tuned 7B) for lower-latency voice work.

A Vancouver-based primary care clinic has been running AI Scribe in production since February 2026. The clinic reports an average of 14 minutes saved per clinician per day on documentation, with no measurable change in note quality as scored by a blinded peer review. The deployment is cloud, Canadian region, with audit logging on every encounter.

The clinical note structure follows the SOAP format (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) by default. The structure is configurable per operator — the VZU team has shipped custom note structures for cardiology, mental health, physiotherapy, and veterinary operators. The custom note structure is part of the setup engagement.

AI Scribe is available immediately to healthcare operators. The setup is a 2-4 week engagement, including the EMR integration, the operator-specific note structure, and the on-prem deployment if applicable. The pricing is per-clinician, metered monthly. The pricing includes the model inference, the EMR write, and the audit log retention.

For operators evaluating AI Scribe against a competitor, the VZU team offers a 30-day pilot at no charge. The pilot includes the deployment, the EMR integration, and a side-by-side comparison of the AI-generated notes against the operator's existing notes, scored on a blinded rubric.
