Flash Fender.

The dealer management system that runs on the operator's terms.

Sales desking, F&I, inventory, service, CRM, accounting, OEM integrations — one platform, one data model, one audit trail. Multi-rooftop out of the box. Cloud, hybrid, or on-prem — same binary, same data, operator-controlled.

The product

What Flash Fender is.

Flash Fender is a Dealer Management System (DMS) for automotive dealerships. It runs the full deal lifecycle: the up on the lot, the desking, the F&I, the deal jacket, the funding, the delivery, the service RO, the parts order, the accounting close, the OEM submission. One data model, one audit trail, one set of permissions.

Multi-rooftop out of the box. The dealer group sees one consolidated P&L, one inventory roll-up, one CRM view across every store — without stitching together five vendor logins. The general manager sees their store. The GM of the other store sees theirs. The owner sees everything.

Operator-controlled deployment. Cloud for the operator who wants to be on the latest. On-prem for the dealer group with an air-gap requirement. Hybrid for the operator who wants the BI in the cloud and the deal jacket in the basement. The data, the binary, and the OEM integrations are the same.

The problem

The legacy DMS wasn't built for this.

The five-log-in day

The dealer logs into five systems per deal.

The CRM is one vendor. The desking is another. The F&I is a third. The service RO is a fourth. The accounting is a fifth. None of them talk to each other cleanly. The salesperson re-keys the deal between systems and wonders why the close rate is what it is.

The data hostage

The DMS vendor owns the data.

The legacy DMS vendors treat customer data, deal jackets, and inventory history as theirs. The dealer can't export, can't sync, can't run their own analytics. The dealer is renting their own business data back at per-seat pricing.

The multi-rooftop patchwork

Three rooftops, three rollups.

The dealer group with three stores runs three different rollups, three inventory feeds, three CRM instances. The owner gets the consolidated report on the 5th of the month from an analyst who spent a week in spreadsheets.

The solution

One platform. One data model. Every rooftop.

Flash Fender is one platform. The desking talks to the F&I. The F&I talks to the accounting. The service RO closes back to the dealer's GL. The customer record is one record across sales, service, and parts. The salesperson logs into one system, not five.

Multi-rooftop is native. The dealer group configures the org chart once — the stores, the regions, the roles, the per-store overrides. The owner opens one dashboard and sees the consolidated P&L, the inventory turn, the CRM funnel, the service RO aging, the OEM compliance posture, by store, by region, by group.

The data is the dealer's data. Export it, sync it, run your own analytics. The audit trail is on from the first character. The OEM integrations (Ford, GM, Toyota, Honda, Stellantis, and the rest) are real, not screen-scraped. The on-prem option exists for the dealer group whose IT requires it.
